    (We would hope that in making their nominations DPC would take on board factors such as geographical distribution and a range of age groups). Chairperson of the General Dental Practice Education Committee.

    2. STATUS

    CVT (NI) will work within the existing NIMDTA administrative structure as an autonomous Committee.

    3. VOTING MEMBERS, QUORUM AND EXECUTIVE POWERS

    All members with the exception of the DHSSPS(NI) representatives and the Director of Dental Services, CSA will have a vote.  There will be 13 voting members.  Observers will not have a vote.  Meetings will be quorate if 6 or more voting members are present of whom at least 2 are DPC nominees.

    4. REMIT

    The management and delivery of Vocational Training in Northern Ireland.

    5. TERM OF OFFICE

    Three years from 1st January 1995/ 15th September 1998/ 9th October 2001/ 5th April 2005.

    The next meeting of the CVT (NI) will be held in NIMDTA, Beechill House, 42 Beechill Road, Belfast on Wednesday 30th November at 2:15 in NIMDTA.
