TRAINER RECRUITMENT

Are you enthusiastic about training and education?  Are you a supportive employer?  Could you commit to the development of a young dentist?  Why not share your skills and knowledge with a junior colleague and apply for a Trainer position on the Northern Ireland Vocational Training Schemes. 

There are currently 36 places available.  The selection procedure for Trainers is a two stage process.  Stage one is to assess the suitability of the environment and a practice assessment will be carried out by a member of NIMDTA staff and another dentist trained in this area.  Following a satisfactory assessment* you will be invited to attend for interview.  Successful applicants must then attend a Meet the Trainer day where they will have the opportunity to meet with the selected Trainees. 

NIMDTA welcomes additional funding made available to trainers commencing in August 2008.  In addition to the current Trainer grant of £9036, paid monthly, an additional £12,447 is obtainable per training year.
