There are 30 study days in a VT year and they are normally held on a Tuesday. The programme is intended to give opportunities to gain knowledge relevant to General Dental Practice. We also include in our study days some of the lectures for the MFDS course, as these are also relevant to the MFGDP examination. We also have visits to the BDA, GDC, and Faculty of General Dental Practitioners (FGDP) in London as well as attendance at the RCSI conference in Dublin and the Chicago Mid-Winter conference.
