There are 30 study days in a VT year and they are normally held on a Tuesday. The programme is intended to give opportunities to gain knowledge relevant to General Dental Practice. We also include in our study days some of the lectures for the MFDS course, as these are also relevant to the MFGDP examination.

All VDPs also undertake several projects related to General Dental Practice.

In a change to previous years the VT Day Release Study Programme will be issued as a single page publication with more detailed information about aims and objectives published on NIMDTA’s ‘Course Manager’ system.  Evaluations and Certificates will also be accessed via Course Manager user accounts.
