There are 4 assessment tools which are currently used for the foundation assessment programme :

1. TAB (Team Assessment of Behaviour) This is the multi souce feedback tool being used by NIMDTA. Some foundation schools will use the mini-PAT

2. CbD (Case based discussion)

3. Mini-CEX (Mini clinical examination)

4. DOPS (Direct observation of procedural skills)

NIMDTA will be using the TAB assessment documentation as the tool for Multi Source Feedback (MSF)  This is not detailed on the Healthcare Assessment and Training website.  It takes the place of the mini-PAT assessment
