You are invited to apply for funding in pursuit of a qualification or approved course for your personal and professional development. This funding is being made available as part of the initiative for Higher Professional Education and only doctors who have recently completed Vocational Training are eligible to apply.

If you would like to apply, simply email roisin.moss@nimdta.gov.uk at The Northern Ireland Medical and Dental Training Agency, outlining how much funding you would require, itemising exactly the purpose of any funding requested. It will be necessary for you to outline the dates, location and provider of the course / training. It would also be helpful for you to state what you would hope to gain from the proposed course / training, and how it will benefit your clinical practice.

As funding is limited, if demand exceeds available funding, it will be necessary to apply some objective selection criteria. It may help your application to provide as much detailed information as you can. All applications meeting the criteria will then be subjected to a draw as a fair means of allocation.
