It is widely accepted that during GP Vocational Training it is impossible to fit in all the educational elements, which should ideally be provided, within such a limited timeframe. There is funding to allow some HPE doctors to arrange a placement with a consultant in a speciality either to address a gap in training or to further develop a special interest. We will also provide a bursary towards payment of fees to undertake the respective College diploma examination on completing the clinical experience. We would welcome expressions of interest; stating your area of interest, why you wish to undertake the training offered and how you feel your clinical practice will benefit.
