Athena is an initiative designed to provide a comprehensive CPD package for members. There is a range of different events and activities at various venues to allow each member to design their own programme, depending on their interests, practice needs and preferred way of learning.

The programme is based on needs identified in different ways. These include needs noted by appraisers, requests from doctors attending events last year, and current issues identified by Health and Social Service Boards. Contact from members is very welcome and all suggestions and requests will be considered.

The programme for Jan - June 09 is now available. Please click on the link above. You will also be able to view other providers courses as well, NIMDTA does not accept any responsibility for other providers courses. Members and non-members can look at courses organised by date or topic.

PRACTICE MEMBERSHIP

Practice Membership is now available - 20% reduction on each membership charge if every GP in the practice joins.  Practice membership enables other practice staff members to attend courses free of charge ie. (practice manager, nurse practitioner, practice nurse)

Membership will be valid from point of joining until 30th June 2009.

This allows access to all NIMDTA ATHENA courses and educational services
