The main Conference theme is: “Dealing with Difficulties – Creating Solutions” There will also be a separate “Springboard group” for new TPDs and possibly a Balint group. A common request from medical educators is for help dealing with difficulties, problems, or challenges. This can range from learners who are having difficulty or causing problems to the personal challenges of managing change or working with limited resources and imposed practice. - If this rings bells then this conference is for you. - If you are a new TPD this conference is for you. - If you are interested in Balint group work this conference is for you. Bring along the situations that are causing you difficulty and within small facilitated groups you will have an opportunity to explore solutions. Consider how difficulties and problems can be prevented or identified early. Although the course will be about finding solutions to your difficult situations the main aim is that you leave with a “Toolbox of methods for creating and providing solutions so that you leave with ideas for dealing with future difficulties.” |
