The Foundation Programme offers generic skills for F2 (Foundation Year 2) doctors, which includes audit, career management advice, team working, patient safety with emphasis on risk management allied to clinical governance.  The generic skills programme runs throughout the year commencing in August 2006.  Effectively this will give early years doctors a  head start to enhance their careers.
