The Transfer of Information (TOI) process is a means of supporting medical students and new doctors who move from their Medical School to their Foundation School environment, or between Foundation Year 1 and Foundation Year 2.  In particular, the process identifies medical students and new doctors who may require additional support/adjustments during their Foundation Training Programme.

The process is administered by the NIFS. Students and doctors will be instructed to complete this documentation when required.
