UK Specialty training opportunities are available in Northern Ireland in the following specialties from August 2010 for a period up to 2 years:
PAEDIATRICS
Minimum entry requirements:
• 3 years postgraduate training (excluding internship) in Paediatrics
• A postgraduate qualification (MD/DNB)
• Certificate of good standing from the Local Medical Council for submission to the GMC
• lnternational English Language Testing System (IELTS) – overall scores of 7 (Speaking 7, Listening 7, Reading 7, Writing 7)

Minimum entry requirements:
• 3 years postgraduate training (excluding internship) with a minimum of 1 year in O&G
• A postgraduate qualification (MD/MS/DNB)
• Certificate of good standing from the Local Medical Council for submission to the GMC
• lnternational English Language Testing System (IELTS) – overall scores of 7 (Speaking 7, Listening 7, Reading 7, Writing 7)

• 3 years postgraduate training (excluding internship) with a minimum of 1 year in Emergency Medicine
• Evidence of progression towards (or successful completion of) a relevant postgraduate exam (such as the MCEM or equivalent)
• Certificate of good standing from the Local Medical Council for submission to the GMC
• lnternational English Language Testing System (IELTS) – overall scores of 7 (Speaking 7, Listening 7, Reading 7, Writing 7)
