Anyone wishing to work in the UK must have the sufficient immigration status to do this. Information relating to immigration issues surrounding those applying to specialty training can be found on the MMC website. The Agency is not equipped to provide immigration advice, neither are we regulated to do so. If you are unsure as to what your immigration status is, or whether you are eligible to apply please contact the UK Borders Agency (UKBA) or the Office of the Immigration Services Commissioner (OISC). Candidates should be aware that failure to meet the required standards, or provide sufficient information on your application form may result in your application being delayed or rejected.
You must bring your passport and proof of your immigration status to any interviews or assessments you attend.
All trainees appointed to medical or dental posts must have Enhanced Disclosures completed prior to taking up their post as they will be working within posts which involve contact with children and vulnerable adults. For further information in relation to AccessNI, please click here. Candidates do not need to bring completed references to interview. Instead referees will be contacted directly via the application system once an offer has been accepted.
