The Prescribing Safety Assessment (PSA) gives trainees the opportunity to demonstrate the safe and effective prescription of medication. This assessment is a requirement all trainees must complete in order to gain full GMC registration and progress into F2.
For those who have not passed the assessment during medical school, they are given the opportunity to sit it during F1. Dr Richard Plumb has worked to put together the following resources to aid trainees in the successful completion of the PSA.
It is suggested that those using these resources spend 10 minutes watching the eBNF video first then spend 30 minutes doing the practice paper. There is then a post PSA paper answers and discussion video.
This resource is for those trainees who are yet to complete the Prescribing Safety Assessment (PSA). Should you require access, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
