All Cardiology Teachings will be held (unless otherwise stated) at Elliott Dynes, Royal Victoria Hospital on the last Friday afternoon of the month.

A CMT teaching programme has been co-ordinated to assist trainees with exam preparation. All Teaching Sessions will be held (unless otherwise stated) in NIMDTA once a month from 2pm to 5pm and are video linked to hospital sites in Altnagelvin, Daisy Hill, Causeway & South West Acute.

Designed by the Federation of Royal Medical Colleges and the Royal College of Anaesthetists, this 2-day course introduces the principles and practice of acute general medical care and the related knowledge, skills, understanding and attitudes. The course provides senior trainees (CT1/2) in Medicine with key point presentations, workshops, “hands on” skills stations and critically ill patient scenarios to enhance skills needed for dealing with life-threatening medical emergencies.
IMPACT Courses are currently only available to NI DEANERY CT1 Trainees.
