Dear Fellow Trainees,
This is a call to action for HSC Changeday – www.hscchangeday.com – coming up on 3 March 2014.
As trainees we have a unique perspective on healthcare gained from rotations through various hospitals and organisations. The value of trainees in highlighting harmful cultures and practices and in leading improvement is increasingly being recognised and celebrated, especially by senior and influential healthcare leaders such as Sir Bruce Keogh, NHS Medical Director, Robert Francis QC, and Mr Peter Lees, Director of the Faculty of Medical Leadership and Management.
I know from coffee-time conversations that we all like to whinge sometimes so HSC Changeday is a great opportunity to ‘turn a whinge into a way’. One of the core themes of HSC Changeday is ‘Doing Something Better Together’ with the idea that lots of small actions and changes can produce a big effect.
Please visit www.hscchangeday.com to make a pledge for HSC Changeday and follow @HSCchangeday on Twitter and HSC Changeday on Facebook.
