CALL FOR ABSTRACTS - Research for Clinicians 2023
Educators and Trainees are warmly invited to attend the Research for Clinicians event titled ‘Creating Tomorrows through Today’s Research’ on the morning of Thursday 9th November 2023.
The event, sponsored by Queen's University Belfast, Ulster Medical Society, and Ulster University will be hosted via Zoom, is free of charge to attend and accredits 3 CPD Points to attendees.
Eligibility...
The opportuntiy is open to all Foundation, Medical Specialty, Dental Core and Specialty, and GP trainees to attend whether you want to find out about research opportunities or have a definite plan to do research which you want to discuss with a senior QUB researcher.
It is recommended that trainees apply for study leave to attend this event.

Event Programme...
During the event presentations will be delivered by doctors and dentists in training, with judging and prize giving for the best presentations. This is an excellent opportunity for doctors and dentists in training to present their original work in the form of clinical, basic science and educational studies, quality improvement, clinical case reports and dental research.

How to apply...
Each abstract must indicate one category under which the submission will be considered. The submission categories are:
- Basic Science Research
- Case Report/Case Series
- Clinical Research
- Dental Research
- Quality Improvement/Patient Safety
- Studies in Medical Education
Abstract Submssions must be sent on the Abstract Form by Wednesday 20th September at 5pm to ValuedTrainees@hscni.net
No submissions will be acceopted after this date and time.
