Educational Excellence Awards 2023
NIMDTA will be hosting its next annual Educational Excellence Awards event on Friday 9th June 2023 in the Dunsilly Hotel, Antrim from 9.15am – 12.30pm.
The purpose of the event is to officially recognise and celebrate the successes achieved during the academic year 2022/23 of doctors and dentists in training in Northern Ireland.
The theme of this years’ event is “Excellence in Leadership”
Speakers…
We are delighted this year to welcome Professor Lourda Geoghegan, Deputy Chief Medical Officer from the Department of Health, to deliver the Welcome Address.
We are also delighted to have Keynote Addresses from Western HSC Trust Director of Medical Education Dr Neil Corrigan, Northern Ireland Athlete James MacSorley and Professor Nigel Hart, President of the Ulster Medical Society.
Nominations are now open to acknowledge and acclaim the achievements of doctors, dentists, trainers and educators in the following categories:
- Innovation in Equality, Diversity and Inclusion
- Innovation in Training (HSCNI Trusts)
- Innovation in Training (Trainees)
- Innovation in Training (Trainer/Educator)
- Recognition of National Award
- Outstanding Success in National Examination
Nominations are welcome from trainees, trainers and educators using the Educational Excellence Day Nomination Form – FORM
