NIMDTA
National Success for Northern Ireland Foundation School

The UKFPO annual National Foundation Doctors Presentation Day was held in Bristol on Friday 19 January 2024.

This event showcases work carried out  by Foundation Doctors across the UK.

We are delighted that 3 of our Foundation Doctors in Northern Ireland were selected to present at this event; Dr Andrew Walker, Dr Dillon O’Flynn, and Dr Rebecca McKillen.

Special congratulations to Dr Walker who won 1st prize for the best overall presentation of the conference, for his oral presentation entitled “Restart the “DAMN” Drugs! – A Quality Improvement Project on Post-Acute Kidney Injury Medication Management”

Thanks also to Dr Kathryn Bryans (GP Specialty trainee) and Miss Jessica Lockhart (NIMDTA ADEPT Fellow and Surgical Specialty trainee) who were outstanding in their enthusiastic representation of NIMDTA.
