NIMDTA reveals its new brand identity
NIMDTA celebrates its past and points to the future with the roll-out of its new brand identity.
NIMDTA Chief Executive, Mr Mark McCarey said,
“I am proud and delighted to announce the roll-out of a new brand identity for NIMDTA.
A new logo for NIMDTA has been in development over the past 18 months and is the result of collaborative talent from within teams throughout the organisation.
We are very proud of the breadth and scope of the work that NIMDTA does across Health and Social Care and having a fresh, strong, vibrant and distinctive brand identity, will enhance the pride among its Trainees, Trainers, Staff, Partners and Stakeholders.
The new logo is rooted in the training agency’s heritage and purpose, whilst also being contemporary, clear and visually impactful. It also captures the spirit and future aspirations of NIMDTA.
The purpose and intent behand the new identity style guide ensures we set a clear voice through which we can align all our messaging. The rebrand will spearhead the communications required to achieve the agency’s strategic priorities, as set out in its Corporate Strategic Plan 2023 - 28.”
The new identity will be used across a range of platforms, including digital platforms (website and social media channels), hard copy print (publications, posters, and flyers), signage and branded goods.
The new identity consists of the following elements:
Colour
NIMDTA has been associated with ‘green’ since 2004 and, as such, has become synonymous with this identity. The updated colours stem from the original colour palette and are further inspired by the many shades of green within Northern Irelands landscapes.
The contrast of dark green and light green has been chosen to convey that the agency’s authority and purpose is coupled with vibrancy and energy.
Green, with its connection to nature and life, is often closely linked to positive emotions. It symbolises growth, renewal and life - and in colour psychology, it is associated with qualities such as harmony, balance and a sense of security.
Typeface
The strong typeface used in the full logo symbolises strength, stability and also character that benefits the agency’s guiding role.
The emphasis on the letter ‘T’ commands attention and places focus on our core function and purpose - namely ‘Training’
This bold approach supports the value we hold for all our Trainees and Trainers.
