The NIMDTA Professional Support & Wellbeing (PSW) Case Managers delivered their 2nd successful Masterclass Session to a packed venue on Thursday 18th April 2024. The Masterclass Sessions provide a fully participative opportunity to develop and enhance the key skills of educators who educate and support our junior doctors and dentists in training throughout Northern Ireland.
NIMDTA Senior Professional Support Manager, Ms Roisin Campbell said “ We are delighted with the uptake and engagement our educators bring to these sessions. The event provides an opportunity to meet the PSW Case Managers, learn more about Coaching and Mentoring, develop strengths in Positive Psychology and Equality, Diversity & Inclusion, participate in Case Study workshops and debate on various case senarios. The event is also a fantastic opportunity to network with educators from across all of Northern Ireland, share experience and ultimately enhance the skills of our educators. The Masterclass Sessions are also part of the wider scope of engagement work the PSW Team complete and compliments our other engagement initiatives such as the podcast series.”
Deputy Chief Medical Officer for Northern Ireland, Dr Lourda Geoghegan, attended the event and said, “I was delighted to attend and participate in the Masterclass Session with NIMDTA colleagues today – thank you to all Case Managers involved in designing and delivering, a great learning opportunity!”
