Research for Clinicians Day 2024 - Winners and Highlights!
NIMDTA, together with its partners, Queen’s University Belfast, Ulster University and Ulster Medical Society, held its annual ‘Research for Clinicians Day’ on Wednesday 6th November 2024.
Research for Clinicians Day is an annual celebration event that provides a great opportunity for Medical and Dental Trainees to explore and engage with the breadth and depth of clinical research being performed by Trainees across Northern Ireland.
This years’ event was the first return to in-person delivery of this event following the COVID-19 pandemic, and was held in the fantastic QUB Wellcome Wolfson Centre, Belfast.
Hosting the event in-person proved to be a very popular decision as over 160 guests enjoyed the networking, informative and competitive elements of the event.
Welcome Address & Clinical Research Opportunities
Guests were treated to coffee on arrival, and the event commenced with a warm welcome address by Prof Louise Dubras, Foundation Dean, School of Medicine, Ulster University.
