Every year NIMDTA welcomes medical and dental graduates from all over the world come to complete their postgraduate training in Northern Ireland (NI)

Increasing numbers of medical and dental graduates from within the British Isles also choose NI as their preferred place to live, work and train.

If you are a trainee who is New to Northern Ireland (N2NI), we have developed a Checklist of important next steps to consider after accepting your training post, with guidance and links to helpful resources for each step. Please click on the image below to access the Checklist.

There may be other important steps to take relevant to your particular specialty or situation, so please keep a look out for emails from the Single Lead Employer (SLE) and Professional Support and Wellbeing teams, as well as from your Training Programme/ Specialty School for important updates.
