N2NI Events

The N2NI team run annual events for those who are new to working in UK practice at ST1 level and above and commencing training in NI.

These events include:

• Virtual Welcome Event
• Regional Enhanced Induction
• SIM Induction
• Work Shadowing Webinar

Virtual Welcome Event

The virtual welcome event provides a welcome to Northern Ireland and an overview of what to expect when commencing training with NIMDTA. The welcome event also provides answers to some of the questions commonly asked by those who are coming to NI for the first time.

Regional Enhanced Induction

The regional enhanced induction focuses on key areas identified to help better support trainees who are new to NI.

If eligible to attend any upcoming sessions in person it is recommended you do so to get the full benefit of the presentations and interactive sessions.

SIM Induction

The SIM Induction is an in-person only event and provides Resident Doctors in Training with an introduction to simulation with a focus on procedural skills, communication stations and more. Details of how to register will be emailed to those who are commencing training and are new to UK practice.

Work Shadowing Webinar

The work shadowing webinar is an informative virtual session that provides an overview of what to expect if completing a shadowing period.

You can watch the previous webinar below, please note that any reference to dates will be relating to the time the video was recorded. Work shadowing is available for the two weeks prior to your official start date, if you are new to UK practice.
