Leadership for High Quality Healthcare – Professor Dame Sue Bailey, Chair of the Academy of Medical Royal Colleges
8.30 – 10.00am, Wednesday 20 April 2016, 1 Bradford Court (Lisburn and Castlereagh City Council Offices) Drumkeen Retail Park, Castlereagh
NICON, the Leadership Centre, NIMDTA and the ADEPT Clinical Fellows would like to invite you to a breakfast discussion session with Dame Sue Bailey, Chair of the Academy of Medical Royal Colleges.
As we all work together to address a range of pressing challenges facing health and social care as set out in One Voice – Time for Change, Dame Sue will take this opportunity to discuss with delegates the need for effective clinical leadership and some of her priorities for AoMRCs including: making best use of resources in health and social care, whole care for patients with long term conditions and reducing variability. Given her new role, announced on the 12 February to lead an Independent Review to better understand junior doctors’ experiences, Dame Sue will also touch upon some of the key issues that will be considered to ensure we have a healthy workforce. After a short presentation, delegates will have ample time to discuss these key issues with Dame Sue in a discussion time which will be facilitated by Professor Keith Gardiner, CEx NIMDTA
If you wish to book a place please just click the registration link here. Please note the location is just opposite Forestside in the old Castlereagh Council Headquarters.
