Trainee doctors who wish to receive a CCT on completion of their training must follow an approved curriculum in GMC-approved training posts and programmes. The GMC approve all posts and programmes that director contribute to the award of a CCT.
Post and programme approval applications are submitted by NIMDTA with supporting evidence from the relevant medical Royal College or Faculty to gain specialty input.
