Maintaining Recognition: Conflict Resolution in Healthcare
Conflict is inevitable in every environment where people with differing personalities, communication styles and professional responsibilities are found. Conflict in healthcare teams has direct implications for both staff and patients so prompt and successful resolution is essential to ensure the safe, efficient and effective delivery of healthcare services. Therefore, while it may not be possible to avoid conflict you can learn to manage it effectively, even possibly transforming it into a positive force for change.
