The 2025 NIMDTA Regional SAS Training Needs Survey provides valuable insight into the current SAS workforce across Northern Ireland. It has been undertaken to inform the development of the new NIMDTA SAS Career Development Programme, while also measuring progress since the first survey in 2020. 

The report captures key themes including SAS workforce numbers, levels of experience, working patterns, career aspirations, and a wide range of additional insights.
