Specialty and Associate Specialist (SAS) doctors play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care across Northern Ireland. However, many face barriers when it comes to initiating and leading change within their clinical environments.

 

NIMDTA SAS Career Development have two courses with Quality Improvement (QI) Projects built in designed to bridge that gap.

SAS QI Programme. This provides in depth training on QI

CHRYSALIS Leadership Programme with QI incorporated. This is a Leadership training programme during which SAS are supported to develop and lead a QI project.

These programmes provide SAS doctors with the skills, tools, and confidence to:

  • Identify and address everyday challenges in their work environment
  • Lead impactful QI projects that enhance patient care and service delivery
  • Meet professional development and revalidation requirements
