The Lead Educators Forum (formerly known as the Specialty Schools Forum) meets every two months under the Chairmanship of the Associate Dean, Director of Hospital Specialty Training. Membership includes the Postgraduate Dean, Associate Dean for Careers and Personal Development, Director of Postgraduate General Practice Education, all Heads and Deputy Heads of Specialty Schools and Specialty Training Programme Directors.
The forum provides an opportunity for exchange of information between NIMDTA and the Specialty Schools in relation to various workstreams including Quality Management (GMC Training Standards, Trainee Survey outcomes and Deanery Visits), Revalidation, Faculty Development, Specialty Training and Recruitment, Less Than Full Time Training, Careers and Trainee Support.
